Various forms of divination and magick have been passed down from my Cretan maternal line, especially cartomancy (divination via cards) and logomancy (word magick), but also kafemanteia (coffee) and orinthomancy (birds) among others. Continuing to practice this generational magick and wisdom is a key way of honoring both my ancestors and culture/spirituality. Also, many of my ancestors didn’t have the privilege to practice out in the open like I can, and these aforementioned forms of divination were passed off as mere games, even if most insights were eerily accurate. I refuse to downplay or suppress this magick and would like to share it with others!

I’ve been writing mystical poetry for over 25 years and have authored numerous poetry books, including To The Greek Muses. A collection of Minoan-inspired poetry is the next book I’m planning on releasing. Additionally, I’ve worked as a poetry book editor for 15+ years. The art of spiritual writing has also been passed down from my maternal side (mantinades especially).

My Cretan maternal grandmother was taught how to “read cards” by her mother, and she taught me cartomancy as well as other forms of divination when I was ten. As of now, I have over 25 years of cartomancy experience. I use a unique “interwoven card” technique she showed me to conduct readings via your choice of a Minoan tarot deck, Greek Goddess tarot deck, or a Hellenic playing card deck (the original way).
